Honor GT Pro launched with overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite and 7,200 mAh battery
Honor has officially unveiled the GT Pro, a powerful addition to its gaming-focused GT series. The device boasts Qualcomm’s overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, featuring Oryon CPU cores clocked at 4.47GHz and a GPU running at 1.2GHz—identical to what’s seen in the Galaxy S25 series. It also includes up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a huge 7,200 mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The phone ships with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
The Honor GT Pro sports a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 1–144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and an impressive 6,000 nits of local peak brightness. Durability is enhanced by Honor’s Giant Rhino Glass, and the phone features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68/69 protection. Camera-wise, it packs four 50MP sensors on the back (including an IMX906 main sensor, IMX856 3x telephoto, and a 120° ultrawide), along with a 22mm front-facing camera in a punch-hole cutout.
The phone is available in Gold, White, and Black, with pricing in China starting at CNY 3,699 ($505) for the 12GB + 256GB version, going up to CNY 4,799 ($656) for the 16GB + 1TB model. There’s no official word yet on international availability.
