HONOR Unveils New AI-Powered Photo Editing Features in Collaboration with Google
HONOR has partnered with Google to launch new AI-powered image editing features aimed at improving mobile photography. These tools, supported by Google’s Imagen generative AI model, are designed to make photo editing easier and smarter.
Among the features is AI Outpainting, which can reframe a photo by zooming and rotating it automatically, and then filling in blank spaces with AI-generated content. There’s also AI Eraser, which lets users remove unwanted elements from photos, and AI Upscale, which restores and enhances old portrait images.
These tools are already available in some HONOR phones like the Honor 400 Lite, and more devices are expected soon. The company also revealed it’s experimenting with Google’s Veo video generation model, signaling a broader push into AI technology.
