Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Slim Design, 200MP Camera, and Android 15 Revealed
Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, with a global release set for later that month. Early reports suggest the phone will feature a powerful 200 MP main camera, highlighting Samsung’s focus on mobile photography. The S25 Edge will be impressively slim at just 5.8mm thick and weigh only 163g, making it lightweight and easy to carry.
The device will launch with One UI 7, based on Android 15. There’s also mention of a titanium frame—though it’s possible that term was mistranslated from another language. The screen will be protected by Corning’s upcoming Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, which hasn’t been officially introduced yet. Positioned between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra in both features and price, the S25 Edge is expected to have the smallest battery in the entire S25 lineup.
