Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7: What to Expect from the Next Generation Foldable
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, expected to launch in July, promises several exciting upgrades. The foldable phone will run Android 16 and One UI 8.0, with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, similar to the Galaxy S25 series. Key improvements include a better under-display selfie camera, a stronger display with new layers, and enhanced water and dust resistance. Additionally, the crease on the foldable screen is reportedly smaller, and there’s a larger vapor chamber, upgraded speakers, and a better vibration motor.
The device is also said to be thinner at 4.5mm when unfolded, with larger displays: an 8-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer display. The camera setup is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor, potentially the same one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. These upgrades, if true, could make the Z Fold7 a powerful competitor in the foldable market, setting Samsung apart from its Chinese rivals.
