DaVinci Resolve 20 Introduces New AI Features
DaVinci Resolve 20 introduces over 100 new features, including several powered by AI, aimed at simplifying the video editing process. One of the standout features is AI IntelliScript, which automatically generates a timeline based on the project script. Other key AI features include AI Set Extender, which allows you to extend or reframe shots using a simple text prompt, and AI Multicam SmartSwitch, which assembles a timeline based on who is speaking in a multicam setup.
Additional AI-powered features include AI Animated Subtitles, which automatically creates dynamic subtitles, and AI Audio Assistant, which enables a professional audio mix with just a single click. There is also the AI Detect Music Beats feature, which analyzes music and automatically places beat markers in the timeline, making it easier to sync video with audio. DaVinci Resolve 20 also offers better support for vertical video editing and enhanced collaboration tools via Blackmagic Cloud.
Other important updates include Chroma Warp, which simplifies color adjustments, and new Fairlight Audio Features that allow for advanced audio customization. DaVinci Resolve 20 is available as a public beta with both a free version and the paid DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio, priced at $295.
